Board of Directors

James Penturn

Executive Chairman of the Board

Mr Penturn has decades of experience providing strategic advice and leadership to management teams of knowledge based businesses to successfully market and sell their services, to structure and syndicate investments, and to raise equity and debt instruments. Mr. Penturn is the President of SpectraLegal Limited in the United Kingdom, a specialist provider of funding solutions for law firms. He is also a member of the strategic advisory committee of Generation Three Family Partners, an international multifamily office that he co-founded. He has been a director of several Canadian publicly listed companies where he sat on executive, audit, governance and compensation committees.

As well as having a BA (with Honours) from the University of Toronto, Mr Penturn has over 30 years’ experience in merchant banking, real property and strategic advisory services as both a principal and agent.


Darcy Krogh

CEO & Director

Mr. Krogh is a veteran of the iGaming industry with over twenty years experience and held senior level managment positions. In 1999 he co founded Chartwell Technology Inc, a TSX listed technology company which pioneered the development of browser based digital content for the iGaming industry. He served as a Director and VP Business Development for the company.

In 2011 he facilitated the sale of Chartwell to Amaya Gaming Group and post merger served as a VP Business Development with Amaya. In 2015 Amaya sold its B2B asset portfolio to NYX Gaming Group and Mr. Krogh aided that transition to NYX until 2016 when he exited to start up Global Daily Fantasy Sports Inc. as President and CEO.

Mr. Krogh is intimately familiar with the online gaming industry with experience in sales and marketing, relationship management, corporate finance, M & A transactions and strategic corporate development    

Mr. Krogh has a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Calgary, Alberta, Canada.


GUIDO Ganschow


Mr Ganschow has 12+ years of experience in creating real-time Live-Dealer technology and platforms and was the Co-Founder and Creative Director for a Macau based Casino Consortium.

Between 2008 and 2014, Guido successfully created and established Live Dealer platform businesses in Asia and Europe, and executed commercial partnerships, sales, and integration of the Live-Dealer solution with major global gaming brands including Ho Gaming Group, Chartwell Technology and Amaya Gaming Group.

He is the President and founder of Playgon Interactive Inc. a Canadian iGaming venture he started in 2014 with a focus on innovating Live-Dealer gaming and technology and is the creative force behind it’s real-time social and real money iGaming live dealer products.


Mike Marrandino


Mr. Marrandino is an experienced C-Level business consultant with a demonstrated history of over 30 years working in the management consulting industry.

His expertise includes business planning, corporate development, mergers & acquisitions, start-ups and transitioning private companies into becoming public companies on the TSXV and CSE. He currently serves as Executive Chairman with Marble Financial Inc., a publicly-traded company listed on the Canadian Stock Exchange.

Mr. Marrandino obtained his Mechanical & Industrial Engineer Technologist education from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.


William Scott


William has over 19 years’ experience in the regulated gaming industry. He currently works as an advisor and consultant in the international gaming industry with a focus on lottery and online gaming. In the role as advisor and consultant, William provides strategic advice, mentoring and contacts to both operators and technical providers in the gaming industry. William is also a Non-Executive Director of Ithuba, the operator of the South African National Lottery.

William left GTECH (now called IGT) in 2013 after a total of 15 years at the company. His last role was as Vice President and Commercial Director at GTECH G2 responsible for interactive gaming revenue for both the WLA and commercial gaming markets.

Prior to taking on this role, William was Vice President of Corporate Development. In this role, he was involved in the development of the Company’s Internet Gaming Strategy and the identification and execution of acquisitions. In this role, William was directly involved in the acquisition of Finsoft, Boss Media and St Minver. 


William was born, raised and educated in South Africa and currently lives in London. He has a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg. He is also a member of the Chartered Accountants of South Africa qualifying whilst working for Arthur Andersen in Johannesburg and London. William is also a trustee of an Africa focused charity, Education Africa.


Robert J. Soper


Bobby Soper currently serves as the International President of Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment. In this role, Bobby oversees and directs all aspects of the company’s efforts for Mohegan’s global assets, including specifically the development and implementation of large-scale integrated resorts in Korea and Japan. In addition, Mr. Soper is the Founder and Owner of Sun Gaming & Hospitality (SG&H) which is operated out of Sunrise, Florida. SG&H provides advisement to resort operators, investors, regulatory bodies, private equity funds, banks and developers in every area of resort finance, development and operations for large-scale projects and online initiatives. In addition, Bobby is an investor, owner and active Board Member in numerous transformative global projects in manufacturing, renewable energy, agriculture, online lottery, esports, sports wagering and various other endeavors. 

Mr. Soper brings two decades of experience overseeing the development of numerous projects from ground-up while also leading the operations of casino resort properties in very competitive regional and destination markets. Prior to his current role as International President of Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment, Mr. Soper served in various executive roles in the Mohegan organization and led efforts to grow it from a single property company to a multi-property international enterprise consistently improving the financial condition of the company in every role he served.

Among various positions, Mr. Soper has served as President & CEO of Mohegan Sun Pocono in Wilkes-Barre, PA, and President & CEO of Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, CT. As President & CEO of Mohegan Sun
Pocono, Mr. Soper was responsible for overseeing the successful launch of the first casino in the Commonwealth of PA. In this role, he developed and implemented a strategic plan that not only resulted in consistent revenue growth and captured substantially higher market share relative to competition, but exceeded all revenue forecasts of the organization and the Commonwealth.

As President & CEO of Mohegan Sun in Connecticut, one of the world’s largest and most successful integrated resort destinations, Mr. Soper took the helm at a time of declining revenues and EBITDA. Mr. Soper initiated and implemented new metric systems, processes and policies focused on team member empowerment, accountability and profitability, and as a result, the property saw significant improvement in guest service scores, productivity, margins and EBITDA. In addition, Mohegan Sun was only one of two gaming companies to received “Forbes Best Places to Work” under his leadership.
